The job involved creating the brand from the ground up and then producing the magazine for 16 months. In that time frame I created 15 total issues, and 16 covers. One-person production helped keep expenses low; ultimately making magazine profits a reality in the first 6 months. Click here to see covers.
New Angeles Magazine:
A monthly magazine created in 2006
as a high-end tabloid for the
quickly emerging LA Eastside (everything east of 90068).
It was defined by 2 distinct editorial eras, both equally successful.
7 months with editors Nikki Bazar
and 8 with Donnell Alexander. Both voices gave the magazine different, yet complimentary perspectives on what was, and always has been OG LA.
